All devices in this series integrate intelligent analogue functions and configurable peripherals, and support a 5V operating voltage to enhance immunity to interference. Each device also includes a comprehensive set of Core Independent Peripherals (CIPs), comprising Cyclic Redundancy Check/Memory Scan (CRC/Scan), Window Watchdog Timer (WWDT) and Hardware Timer (HLT) for safety-critical applications, as well as a Pulse Width Modulator (PWM) and various communication interfaces. The intelligent analogue peripherals include zero-crossing detection (ZCD), on-chip comparators and an analogue-to-digital converter (ADC2) with arithmetic capabilities. These microcontrollers are ideally suited for a wide range of applications in industrial control, consumer electronics, automotive, capacitive touch sensing and the Internet of Things (IoT).
